In a dog-fight, modern fighters can pull up to 9G. With that amount of pressure on your body, it takes all your physical effort, combined with highly specialised anti-G life support equipment just to stay conscious.
Then add cueing weapons; dispensing missile countermeasures; watching the altimeter and using the radio. It's like juggling while you do your tax return in a rugby scrum. And it's great fun!
