THE PROBLEM WE SOLVE

Pressure exposes the gaps.

Your people don't struggle because they lack technical expertise or motivation. The gaps appear when situations become uncertain, priorities compete and the normal plan no longer quite fits.

These are practical problems. And they can be trained.

THE PICTURE IS INCOMPLETE

No one person has all the information. Different people see different parts of the problem, and assumptions start filling the gaps.

PRIORITIES COMPETE

Safety, delivery, customers, resources and time don't always point in the same direction. Teams need to recognise and resolve those tensions together.

CLARITY BREAKS DOWN

Under pressure, ambiguity matters. Who owns the decision? What does good look like? Who needs to know when the plan changes?

THE PLAN NO LONGER FITS

Experience and procedures matter. But when reality shifts, teams need to recognise the change, communicate clearly and adapt fast.

Sam Cockburn

"We’ve changed our pre-start onsite from a general chat and plan for the day to more of a debrief and brief, where we close out the day prior before discussing the who, how and when of the day ahead.

I’m getting more information and driving better conversations by asking about surprises and what went well — small changes that are already having a positive impact.”

OUR DIFFERENCE

Every organisation has different people, pressures and challenges. So we don't deliver generic training packages.

We design immersive learning around the challenges your people actually face and the capability you need them to build.

Strengthen Safety Culture

Move beyond slogans and compliance by helping leaders understand how everyday decisions, systems and behaviours shape safety.

Improve Learning from Normal Work

Build practical briefing and debriefing habits that help teams learn from everyday work, not just when something goes wrong.

Build Stronger Team Coordination

Improve how people communicate, share information and coordinate when priorities compete and conditions change.

Develop Practical Leaders

Give leaders tools they can actually use to create clarity, make decisions and lead teams through uncertainty.

Build Capability in Distributed Teams

Help teams maintain shared understanding and effective coordination across locations, functions and organisational boundaries.

"This kind of simulation is a game changer for organisations looking to elevate team performance. Paired with a strong briefing and debriefing framework, it provides real structure and clarity to how we communicate, execute, and reflect on tasks."

Tarryn Ryan

Experienced where the pressure is real.

We've spent much of our careers in environments where uncertainty is normal, information is incomplete and teams still have to make consequential decisions together.

As combat fighter aircrew, instructors and operational leaders, we've seen that reliable performance is rarely about individual talent alone. It comes from teams that build shared understanding, communicate clearly, adapt as conditions change and continually learn.

Today, we combine that experience with established Human Factors principles to help organisations build the same capabilities in their own teams.

That experience informs our work. It does not become the work.

We haven't just performed under pressure. We've taught it.

Doing the job and developing performance in others are different skills.

Our backgrounds include years spent instructing, developing instructors, facilitating learning and helping people improve in demanding environments.

Good training isn't about telling people what worked for us.

Good training is about creating the conditions for your people to practise, reflect, understand what happened and apply the learning to their own work.

People learn best by doing.

Team performance isn't developed by talking about teamwork.

Our immersive exercises give people the opportunity to experience how they actually communicate, coordinate and make decisions as conditions change.

We then debrief what happened, explore why it happened and connect the learning back to their real work.

EXPERIENCE → REFLECT → LEARN → APPLY
